Candidate and Support FAQ

Why have you changed the way you offer your services, and what is Diversita Connect?

This is a valid question - as we do not offer as much free support to our candidates as we previously did. The answer is that the emotional toll on our staff and the financial strain has been unsustainable for us as a company. Diversita Connect is our way of continuing to offer this support, and much more, at an affordable price to not only keep us in business but also safeguard our consultants. Diversita Connect will allow us to continue giving our job seekers better support, and allow us to reach a wider audience.

What services do you offer and do they cost me anything?

We have a policy at Diversita where our services should never cause any unnecessary financial burden for our candidate community. Our job boards, registering a CV with us and receiving notifications of any suitable opportunities are all free at Diversita. If you require more tailored services however, Diversita Connect is a subscription based service with a collection of training and advice videos as well as connecting you with a like-minded community of ND job seekers. Our tier 3 option at Diversita Connect gives you access to all other tiers for the subscription and a one-to-one, one hour session per month where we can help you with your job search.

Will Diversita be understanding of my neurodivergence?

100% YES!!! We exist to support neurodivergent (ND) job seekers and our consultants are ND themselves.

A lot of the roles on the website seem tech focused, I am not interested in tech though?

When we started, Diversita did focus on the tech sector due to the founder's background. However, this is changing all the time so please keep checking our latest jobs         and our job board here.

I have the option of paying privately for support - what do I do next?

You can sign up for Diversita Connect if that is right for you. If you require more additional support or want to discuss tailored options further please contact Marc at mcrawley@diversita.co.uk.

I don’t know what adjustments to ask for - is that ok?

That’s no problem - Diversita Connect has many frequently asked questions and videos that can give you the advice you seek when discussing disclosure and adjustments. Our community forum on Diversita Connect will allow you to ask your own questions and see advice given by us and our community.

I have never worked before and don’t know where to start - can you help?

We can certainly aim to help! Contact us here to upload your CV to our database. Alternatively Diversita Connect is designed to offer job search support for ND candidates, learn more here.

What is the Diversita LinkedIn Community Meetup?

We meet with our LinkedIn ‘Diversita Community Group for ND job seekers and advocates’ on a virtual call once per quarter to discuss recruitment, roles and share experiences. Please feel free to join our free community group on LinkedIn here

What is the Diversita Connect Member Meetup?

We also host a member meetup once per month for our tier 2 membership on Diversita Connect which you can find more information on here and check out for yourself here (coming soon)

Are all the companies you work with fully neuro-inclusive?

They are not, however, they are all on a journey. Neuro-inclusion is an evolving landscape and we are always striving to help organisations to improve. However, every company that posts a job on our job board has been screened by us for inclusivity

Are you a charity?

We are not - we are a privately owned company named Diversita Consulting Limited. However, we aim to offer 30% of our company time to pro-bono activities and work with schools and universities to offer support to ND students.

Is everyone at Diversita ND?

Everyone currently at Diversita is neurodivergent.
