About Diversita™
Built on lived experience. Driven by a mission for fairness. We transform workplaces so neurodivergent talent can thrive.
Empowering organisations. Supporting community. Championing neurodiversity.
Diversita was founded with a simple yet powerful purpose: to bridge the gap between neurodivergent talent and inclusive employers, creating workplaces where different minds can thrive.
After more than two decades working at senior levels within talent acquisition, founder Marc Crawley repeatedly witnessed a frustrating reality. Despite 15–20% of the population being neurodivergent, workplace disclosures were virtually non-existent. The traditional hiring and management landscape was not lacking neurodivergent capability — it was lacking psychological safety, understanding, and accessibility.
For Marc and his wife Giulia, this was not just a professional observation; it was deeply personal. As parents to an autistic son, watching him grow made them reflect on the world of work he — and millions of others like him — would one day navigate. They knew that real, lasting inclusion could not be achieved through generic corporate checkboxes. It required genuine education, practical tools, and a supportive community.
In 2022, Marc and Giulia founded Diversita to create meaningful change.
Today, Diversita partners with forward-thinking organisations to deliver CPD-accredited manager training, executive workshops, and inclusive policy audits. Beyond consultancy, we are immensely proud of Diversita Connect — our dedicated digital platform that brings our community together through regular webinars, lived-experience resources, and interactive meetups.
Our mission remains clear: to equip organisations with the knowledge to build barrier-free environments, while empowering the neurodivergent community to navigate their careers with confidence and pride.

"What began as a dream to help our son and others like him has grown faster than we ever imagined. As a family business, we bring a personal, people-first approach to everything we do. We understand that neurodiversity isn't a challenge to manage — it's a strength to harness."

The System Was Not Built for Cognitive Diversity. We Are Here to Change That.
Traditional workplace environments, communication norms, and career frameworks were designed around a neurotypical standard. They reward social conformity, open-plan sensory endurance, and rigid performance metrics rather than authentic capability and cognitive strength. As a result, neurodivergent individuals face systemic barriers at every stage — from navigating high-friction recruitment processes to managing day-to-day workplace environments that fail to provide psychological safety or basic accommodations.
The statistics highlight a critical gap across the entire employee lifecycle:
- The Autism & Neurodiversity Employment Gap: According to the UK Government's landmark Buckland Review of Autism Employment (and ONS data), only 22% to 30% of autistic adults are in full-time work — the lowest employment rate of any disabled group. Wider research indicates that over 40% of neurodivergent adults overall face unemployment.
- The High-Friction Recruitment Sieve: Up to 80% of neurodivergent job seekers are filtered out before reaching a first interview due to ambiguous job specifications, social-heavy interview formats, and opaque application processes.
- The Crisis of Disclosure & Safety: The City & Guilds Neurodiversity Index reveals that 65% to 76% of neurodivergent employees do not feel safe to disclose their neurodivergence at work due to fear of bias, misunderstanding, or negative career impact.
- The Day-to-Day Workplace Challenge: Cross-sector studies show that over 80% of neurodivergent staff lack a dedicated mentor or manager-advocate, while unadapted sensory environments, vague communication styles, and unsupportive team structures lead to chronic masking and eventual burnout.
How Diversita Bridges the Gap
At Diversita, our work is grounded in the Social Model of Disability: the principle that it is the workplace environment, tools, and culture that must adapt, not the individual. Neurodivergent thinking — from lateral problem-solving and deep focus to hyper-analytical processing — is a vital strength to be celebrated when organisations are equipped to support it.
We bring together organisational transformation and community empowerment:
- CPD-Accredited Training & Consultancy: We partner directly with executive leaders, HR teams, and line managers to audit recruitment, adapt physical and digital working environments, and upskill managers to foster genuinely inclusive teams.
- Diversita Connect Platform: We nurture a thriving digital community offering expert webinars, lived-experience resources, and regular peer-to-peer meetups for neurodivergent professionals and job seekers.
Every training session we deliver, every policy audit we conduct, and every community event we host is driven by one conviction: the neurodivergent community deserves equitable, barrier-free workplaces where they can thrive, belong, and succeed.
